I know that I’ve written about this before, but its really important to remember that you can earn more commisions by being proactive with our promotions.  Keeping up to date with promotions and updating them monthly are always important, below is a list of things that you’ll want to remember when trying to optimize your campaigns.

• Write up some unique content: Make it a review or grab some information from our product data feed or website so that you give your traffic a wealth of information.  Think of yourself as a sales representative and provide your traffic with what the answers to the questions they’re looking for.  If you’re writing about Petscriptions.com, don’t forget that we have the lowest prices that you’ll find and we are the premier discount pet medicine pharmacy.
• Update your Promotions: Always check into CJ and the blog for updated information about the program, as well as promotions and discounts.  Another great way to get the information you need is to follow our monthly newsletters.  If you don’t have your email linked to your CJ account then you should do so quickly for updates in all the programs you’re in.  Of course the best way to get this kind of information is to contact your affiliate manager directly.
• Put up some Banners: Reinforce your site with some nice banners placed in key locations to set as reminders for your traffic that you support your merchant.  Be careful to choose banners that are the right size or that aren’t too busy with colors and animations that contrast sharply with your sites layout.
• Link to Categories: If you’re referring people for our great Bone and Joint Health selections then you should probably link them to that section rather than the home page.  Streamlining things for your traffic to make it easier for them to find what they need will facilitate your sales and commissions as well.

Staying up to date with things is always important, and understanding the seasonality can be important as well.  Keep up with your affiliate manager, contact him or her from time to time and you’ll be able to reap the benefits of more commissions and earnings.
