 Nicholas “Head” Colleluori was the founder of the HEADstrong Foundation, and a Lymphoma victim. In November of 2006, he finally lost his battle with the disease, but not until he had inspired hundreds and thousands of people both in and out of the lacrosse community. As a Division I lacrosse player for Hofstra University, he defined what it meant to be “Relentless” both on and off the field. He counselled other patients after his diagnosis, and he never stopped being active in workouts. He even played a final game in August 2006, just months prior to his death.
