Everyone is pinching their wallets these days, so to help increase conversions you need to give your customers a bargain, or a deal or just the best price possible.  Coupon codes and promotion codes are all important, but I think it would be really helpful if you affiliates directed your traffic to the sale sections at faucet.com, doorhardwaresplus.com, rugshowplace.com and lightingshowplace.com.  Everyone is shopping for a bargain, so make things more convenient for the customers, and push them into the right direction.

In addition to linking to the sale sections, keep using all those banners with free shipping displayed on them.  If you haven’t used the banners that sport the free shipping, you may want to consider using those as well.  I’ll even let you in on a secret: these banners all convert the best.

These are just some quick fix ideas; consider changing things up a bit on your websites and you should see some improvements in your commissions.  If you have any great ideas or need help with any ideas, just contact me!

The flower and gift sales are now in full swing for the Mother’s Day holiday and hopefully things are running well for some of you affiliates.  But if you are having trouble, don’t forget to promote that Grandma needs flowers for Mother’s Day too!  By reminding your customers that Grandma needs flowers too you are potentially doubling your commission, so keep that in mind for this last home stretch.

Also as a reminder, orders that are placed before 2PM on Saturday will make it to Mom or Grandma on Sunday.   There are many great specials for Mother’s Day, so make sure you are directing traffic to www.48longstems.com.  Don’t act too late!

Effective IMMEDIATELY, all members of the iContact Upfront Bounty Affiliate Program on Commission Junction will be getting a raise in the form of a new, higher commission payout! After evaluating the exceptional performance of the affiliate program, we have decided to increase commissions from 5x the monthly subscription payment to 7x! This means that for every valid, paid account that you refer to iContact, you will earn 700% of the monthly subscription rate in commission! In addition, the maximum payout for any new account will be increased to $250 from the previous max of $150. To see how these numbers play out and impact your bank account, take a look at these examples:

I’ve noticed that a lot of affiliates are having trouble converting a lot of their clicks into sales and I’m eager to find a solution or a fix for everyone so that we can all gain more commissions.  Everyone has a different situation; there many different factors that are going to affect your conversions, so I’ve decided to come up with some common fixes and tips that will help you increase your conversions.

1. Don’t just post a banner and a text link and expect sales to generate over night.  It’s not that simple, you can’t just add water to make it grow, you’re going to have to make sure that your links and your banners are visible to the users.  Think about how people are navigating through your website and consider where their eyes are going to be focused.
2. The ISeeMe.com products fall under several different product categories: Gifts, Books, Babies, Birthday’s, even Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.  Consider placements in each of these categories to increase the overall exposure of the products.
3. USE SOME COPY: The best converters have great write ups and copy that provide enough information for the user to decide that they should make the purchase.  If you need ideas with what to say or how to describe the product, just ask me!
4. Features and Reviews: Along the same lines as using copy, if you are really intent on converting, then you can write up a review or consider featuring the products so that the users will understand the complete benefits of the ISeeMe gifts and books.

Contest Still Running

Last week our conversion rate was 5.48% thanks for the hard work and support! The program wouldn’t be a success without you.

Heel-That-Pain is still running the iPod Nano contest through the end of May! If you still haven’t had a chance to put your links up and participate yet then now is the time. Get your links up to start generating sales, it’s still a close race and opportunity for anyone to step up to the plate.

Just to review the rules, to participate all you have to do is generate sales! For each valid sale, your publisher name will be entered into a random drawing and one will be selected at the end of the month as the winner. There is no limit to how many times you may be entered into the drawing, so start now!
